Fern’s Flowers Garden + Art is a Verb are joining together to make the ultimate evening of cozy creativity through this collaboration of whimsical workshops! First, Fern will introduce you to her tranquil community garden where you will pick and arrange your own beautiful bouquets. Then, Neelam of Art is a Verb will take you through her peaceful workshop of Beginner Brush Pen Calligraphy. Join us for this ultra unique collaboration where by the end of the evening, you will take home your bouquet, calligraphy beginner supply kit, calligraphy card to go with your fresh bouquet, new skills, and a truly immersive creative experience.

Have you been curious about modern calligraphy and interested in learning more? Join Neelam, professional artist and calligrapher for a relaxing workshop where you’ll be introduced to the basics of brush pen modern calligraphy. Come with friends and loved ones, ditch the regular “catch up over dinner” plan, and get reacquainted with your creative side! PLUS, for this special edition, Neelam is partnering with Fern’s Flowers Garden where you will get to pick and arrange your own bouquet, and then go through the calligraphy workshop with Neelam, ending with your own hand-lettered calligraphy card to accompany your bouquet.

• Brief Garden tour
• 15 stem flower bouquet

• Beginner Brush Pen Modern Calligraphy Supply Kit: includes supplies for the workshop that you get to take home with you afterwards! (small tip brush pen, pencil, worksheets)

• How to form letters

*calligraphy workshop will take place outside amongst the gardens if weather permits, if not, it will take place in the garden's gorgeous yurt

Tuesday, August 19th, 5pm - 9pm (1.5hrs for bouquet + 2.5hrs for sit down calligraphy workshop)

💲 Cost: $95 per person

6-10 people per workshop  

This workshop is specifically for beginners. No prior knowledge or expertise is required 💛

About Neelam: 

Neelam is a professional visual artist, calligrapher, and graphic designer. She is the artist behind her small south asian-owned business, Art is a Verb, which focuses on mixed-media art: Calligraphy, embroidery, dried flowers, watercolour, collage, painting, and drawing. Neelam adores calligraphy and wants to inspire others to learn more about this timeless and peaceful art form.
